Grigford has established itself as a leader with a dedicated Research Centre, featuring advanced analytical, evaluative, experimental, and scale-up capabilities. Founded in 1988 in Gurgaon, Grigford’s R&D Centre was created to drive “Research” for acquiring new knowledge and applying it; identifying alternative materials, products, processes, and services; and “Developing” practical applications for research insights or other forms of knowledge to enhance plant design and operations.

Research Assets

  • A core team of over 50 skilled professionals, each holding technical degrees from esteemed institutions.
  • The pilot plant facilities feature advanced setups such as Distillation Columns, Solvent Extraction systems, Catalyst Testing equipment, Hydrodynamic Cavitation apparatus, Coal Attrition study setup, FCC and TBR cold flow models, and a Coal-to-Liquid conversion plant, complete with a Gasifier, Syngas purification system, and Gas disposal infrastructure.
